This power-packed, 2-hour workshop is for photographers and graphic designers who want to start or grow their freelance business.
Led by Corwin Hiebert, a business manager to freelancers, digital artists, and entrepreneurs—this workshop will deliver the goods to help you get organized, focused, and on-track using a business planning tool that doesn’t suck.
Every attendee will be given a complimentary copy of Corwin’s Business Action Planner ($50 value) – you can learn more here: www.businessactionplanner.com.
The Business Action Planner Toolkit is a non-prescriptive resource designed to decrease the chance of inertia and increase a freelancer’s entrepreneurial momentum—the digital toolkit includes a 344-page PDF guidebook, Evernote® notebooks, and a free worksheet subscription.
Corwin Hiebert manages talent such as world-renowned photographer, publisher, and best-selling author David duChemin and he’s the author of Living the Dream: Putting Your Creativity to Work [and Getting Paid] (Peachpit Press, 2013) as well as many other eBook titles with Craft & Vision and Flatbooks. Corwin presents business and marketing lectures / workshops at photography and design conferences throughout Canada and the Unites States; he is also a guest lecturer at Vancouver Media Arts Institute, Langara College, and Capilano University (IDEA Program)
CAPIC is proud to be a part of the 2015 Capture Photography Festival with two exciting events.
A photography exhibition showcasing what it is that commercial photographers enjoy photographing during their own personal time. A juried exhibit for our members with the mandate: What is your secret passion? What is it you photograph when you are free to photograph whatever you want?
There are no rules as far as size or scale or even media so we are excited to see the results.
Opening night is April 9th from 7-10 pm Mainspace Gallery-350 East 2nd Ave.
The show is also open from Noon to 5:00pm April 9-11th
