An experienced photographer, Clare Hodgetts strives to use her images as a catalyst to get the conversation flowing about environmental conservation and education. Her mission is to move people from caring about issues to active involvement by raising awareness of organizations and their missions through the use of her photography and fine art prints.

In her words:
“My slideshow for Slideluck is a journey up the coast of Vancouver Island. Down paths flanked by ancient trees, out to cobblestone beaches, and in to peeling waves. Extremes define this coastline. Calm or ferocious, clotted or pummeled, fast or slow. The mood and emotion of the places is what I hope to convey.”
