CAPIC’s seventh annual CAPIC Student Member contest, Rodeo7, has been underway for the past few months and we are excited to announce our winners for 2015!

The contest was judged by prominent Canadian photographers, Matthew Plexman, John Gaucher and Josh Webb, and illustrators Barbara Spurll, Ron Berg and Sue Todd, through an online vote to determine the top 3 photographers and top 3 illustrators.

An exhibition in Toronto featuring Rodeo winners and Xposé will be announced shortly as we finalize some details for those interested in joining us for a night of recognition and appreciation of Canada’s top talent.

For more information on the event, please contact Rosemary Chapman at (416) 462-3677 ext 233.

BONUS “PEOPLE’S CHOICE” PRIZE ROUND!

The top 10 winners in each category will also be entered into a special social media voting round for a chance to win one of two fabulous prizes from Staedtler and PhotoEd Magazine! From today, Monday, April 13th, until April 29th, all you need to cast your vote is tweet the ARTIST NAME or TITLE OF THE IMAGE that you like best with hashtag #RODEO7!
